Whether you were aware or caught off guard, having a premature infant raises various concerns about baby and parenting.
We conducted a survey with parents in similar situations to better understand their needs. With their feedback in mind, we developed NICU2HOME—a smartphone application specifically designed to support parents with infants (including multiples) in the NICU.
NICU2HOME offers several valuable features:

 <li>Daily Updates: Stay informed about your baby's weight, feeding, breathing, and other clinical information while they are in the NICU.</li>
 <li>Care Team: Easily access real-time information about your baby's care team.</li>
 <li>Milestones: Track important moments in your baby's progress, such as weight gain, feeding, breathing, discharge, and more. Share these milestones with your loved ones at home.</li>
 <li>Education Center: Gain comprehensive knowledge about your newborn and their environment in the NICU. NICU2HOME covers over 180 educational topics tailored to your unique journey, delivering relevant information each day.</li>
 <li>Connect with your friends and family: Share your NICU journey with your support network through a secure and private channel offered by NICU2HOME.</li>
 <li>Post and share: Easily and securely share your thoughts and experiences with the important people in your life, involving them in your journey.</li>
</ul>
The NICU experience can be overwhelming. NICU2HOME is here to assist you throughout those challenging first days, long nights, and potentially weeks or even months in the NICU. Our hope is that it empowers you to become the parent you always aspired to be.
NICU2HOME was initially provided to a limited number of NICU parents as part of a scientific research program. Prior to downloading the app, kindly verify if your hospital's NICU offers this service.
